Blackberry, currant and mineral notes with a medium to full bodied palate. Soft tannins with a spicy vanilla finish.           

Barbera D’Alba – Ca’ Del Baio 2006  (Italy)  $8 / $28

Fresh flavors of raspberry and violet . A full bodied red wine with a good support of acidity in a balanced finish.

Dolcetto Di Dogliani – Cascina Corte 2006 (Italy) $8/$28

Classic Dolcetto, bright fruit, dark color with a slight tannin finish.

 Nebbiolo D’Alba “Briccola” –  Bruna Grimaldi  2006 (Italy) $35

An excellent Nebbiolo with strong black  fruit and a delicate and persistent bouquet with scents of violet .

 

Barbera D’Asti “Litina” – Cascinacastlet 2005 (Italy)  $35

Vibrant red-purple hue with a nice presence of winter fruit with hints of vanilla and long finish. A staff favorite!

 

Barolo – Corsini Barolo  2004 (Italy) $60

Classically-styled Barolo.  It starts out simply & blossoms nicely of dark berries with time in the glass.  It shows a bit of oak & is a nice, lush, medium-bodied wine.

 

White  

Pinot Grigio – Di Lenardo  2007 (Italy) $7 / $24

Taste is reminiscent of pear syrup and quince peel. Good acid balance good body and long finish.

 Orvieto Classico – Amabile  2007 (Italy) $7 / $24

Fruity floral with white flowers. Lively in the mouth, crispy but not dry.

 Fruliano “Tocai” - Bastianich 2007 (Italy) $8 / 28

Medium bodied, with ripe pear flavors and nice acidic and mineral finish.
