Barbera D’Asti “Litina” – Cascinacastlet 2005 (Italy) $35 Vibrant red-purple hue with a nice presence of winter fruit with hints of vanilla and long finish. A staff favorite!
Barolo – Corsini Barolo 2004 (Italy) $60 Classically-styled Barolo. It starts out simply & blossoms nicely of dark berries with time in the glass. It shows a bit of oak & is a nice, lush, medium-bodied wine.
White Pinot Grigio – Di Lenardo 2007 (Italy) $7 / $24 Taste is reminiscent of pear syrup and quince peel. Good acid balance good body and long finish. Orvieto Classico – Amabile 2007 (Italy) $7 / $24 Fruity floral with white flowers. Lively in the mouth, crispy but not dry. Fruliano “Tocai” - Bastianich 2007 (Italy) $8 / 28 Medium bodied, with ripe pear flavors and nice acidic and mineral finish.
